Team Overview: Acute Care team specializes in delivering urgent medical interventions with precision and compassion. We collaborate seamlessly across disciplines to address critical healthcare needs promptly and effectively. With a focus on ethical integrity and patient-centered care, we uphold the highest standards of medical excellence, ensuring swift recovery and promoting optimal health outcomes.
Work Hours: (Full time 32hrs) Mon-Thurs. four 8 hours shifts or three 12 hours. Will accept Part time hours.
Position Overview: - Prepare Patients for Radiological Procedures: Ensure patients are prepared for radiological procedures according to established protocols. Prioritize patient care and safety throughout the preparation process.
- Take X-rays Following Established Procedures: Perform X-ray imaging following prescribed techniques and safety guidelines. Position patients correctly and operate X-ray equipment efficiently.
- Develop and Process Radiological Images: Develop and process radiographic films or digital images accurately. Ensure clarity and quality of diagnostic images for physician review.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians: Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians. Collaborate with healthcare team to meet diagnostic imaging needs.
- Equipment Maintenance and Compliance: Ensure all radiological equipment is in good working condition. Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Report Equipment Malfunctions: Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor. Facilitate prompt resolution and minimize impact on patient care.
- Supply and Inventory Management: Maintain examination rooms and stock radiological supplies. Monitor and replenish necessary office supplies to support efficient operations.
- Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with physicians to receive guidance and instruction regarding patient care. Assist in interpreting imaging results and providing support as needed.
- Additional Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as delegated by supervisors or healthcare providers. Contribute to a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.

Minimum Qualifications: - Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred Qualifications: - Clinical laboratory experience a plus
- Knowledge of EHR or EMR strongly preferred
Pay & Benefits: - $35-$40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
