Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Position: Workers' Compensation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in Workers' Compensation Law

Responsibilities:

* Assist attorneys in preparing and filing workers' compensation documents, including claims, petitions, and appeals.
* Conduct legal research on workers' compensation laws, regulations, and case precedents.
* Gather and organize client information, including medical records, employment history, and accident reports.
* Communicate with clients, court personnel, insurance companies, and other attorneys regarding case updates and requirements.
* Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and records.
* Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
* Assist with the preparation of settlement agreements and other related legal documents.
