Come join the exciting Intuit Assist QuickBooks team as a Staff Product Manager! Our mission is to power prosperity for the world’s small/mid sized businesses and self-employed persons by helping them understand and grow their business — wherever and however they work.
As an individual contributor, you’ll make QuickBooks products even more useful and
engaging for entrepreneurs. You’ll lead the strategy and influence across teams to build out a hyper personalized, yet cohesive Intuit Assist QuickBooks experience that automates tasks, delivers notifications, provides a prioritized todo list of actionable insights, and recommends new ways for customers to automate their business. In leading this effort, you’ll:
Partner with product management leadership, Data Science, Marketing, Experience Design, Product Development, Data Analytics, and other stakeholders to articulate the broad strategy for this experience within the QuickBooks Online offering cross-platform.
Define how the end to end experience should be personalized to meet the needs of each QuickBooks customer. Define how supporting capabilities should come together to power this vision.
Partner with partner teams serving different customer types to solve important problems and build personalized use cases using generative AI
Lead a cross-functional team of product developers, data scientists, marketers, data analysts, and experience designers to innovate, experiment, and create tools that empower other teams to create amazing personalized, cohesive AI experiences for customers
Set KPIs for driving customer delight that powers business outcomes, manage dependencies, escalate barriers to execution, and report research finding and progress to senior leadership
Identify Intuit Assist task automation opportunities through customer research and lean qualitative and quantitative testing
Create strategies and roadmaps based on data to inform the product and platform investments we need to take our products to the next level
Ruthlessly prioritize, influence dependencies, and ship experiences that provide game-changing value to our customers and internal product developers
Communicate frequently and clearly with other teams and leaders, and build durable artifacts to drive alignment
Galvanize the team by celebrating successes and learning from failures
Share knowledge and mentor others
5+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a product management role
Experience working with generative AI or ML models to deliver personalized, engaging customer experiences with a strong technical background
Experience building AI systems for scale with an external end customer in mind; enabling others through your work, delivering cohesion and speed to delivery
A bias for action with a proven track record of delivering experiences from the ground up, 0 >1
Ability to work through high levels of ambiguity: define roadmap for uncharted opportunities working with nascent technologies
Strong appetite for innovation fueled by curiosity and willingness to learn
Evidence of excelling in environments of high cross-company collaboration across business units
Effective in communicating progress to executives & senior leadership
Capable of decomposing a big vision into bite-size milestones with a lean-experiment-oriented perspective. Ability to operationalize into a high velocity execution plan
Deeply curious and data-driven; develop and defend strong points-of-view with data, analytics, external benchmarking, and the voice of the customer
Skilled at gathering insights from internal customers and end-users, identifying and testing opportunities, and synthesizing results
Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch successful web and/or mobile software product offerings designed to create a great customer experience
Undergraduate or graduate degree in data science, computer science, math or statistics, or a related discipline; other degrees or equivalent professional experience will be considered
Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $177,000 - 239,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
