AZD Associates-Architects is an established residential architectural firm located in Bloomfield Hills, MI. AZD Associates-Architects is looking for a creative, organized leader that is self-motivated and enthusiastic. If you are a passionate person with a strong work ethic and ready to grow, you may be the right fit for this long-term position! This position requires a strong eye for design, creative thinking, understanding of the technical nature of buildings and the ability to envision 3 dimensional spaces. This position also has heavy client interaction so good communication skills are a must! Our firm works on projects nationwide.

Daily tasks would include design development, construction drawings, consulting with Engineers and Clients and ensuring that projects comply with state and local building codes.

Requirements:
-BA in Architecture (required), MA in Architecture preferred.
-Ability to oversee the project from preliminary designs through construction drawings.
-3-5 years experience in a residential architectural design field or a directly related field.
-3-5 years experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
-Familiarity with residential building codes, standards and building department processes.
-Friendly personality and works well with clients & colleagues.
