Job Description

• Makes necessary adjustments to flat and fitted items.
• Performs other sewing and related duties as assigned by management.
• Performs light maintenance sewing chores on employee uniforms or other linen fabric such as button replacement and mending of torn articles.
• Presses garments as required.
• Makes alterations by utilizing industrial power sewing machine and/or hand stitching.
• Records daily activities and work performed.
• Maintains stock in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Ensures equipment used is maintained in good condition.
• May repair housekeeping linens, drapes and/or curtains.
• Responsible for assisting the Wardrobe Counter Attendants when needed, assisting employees with uniform exchange according to established procedures.
