Job Description The Principal System Administrator (HPC) must possess the following skills and experience:
8-13 years’ equivalent experience (8 years demonstrable experience with a degree, or 13 without) as
a System Administrator experience and support of large client-server based IT enterprise. An industry
recognized professional certification may substitute as one year of experience.
Specific responsibilities include installation, configuration, tuning, and support of the following:
- Multi-vendor servers running a plethora of COTS, open source and in-house applications to accommodate HPC division IT support requirements.
- Multi-vendor servers running Redhat or Suse with direct attached, FC SAN storage or SSDs.
- Distributing computing tools such as RES, LSF and SLURM
- HPC farm systems, HPC MPP clustered systems, Front End servers of SPDs.
- IBM or HP Blade servers with FC/SAS/Network back end Multi-vendor file systems such as XFS, GPFS and Lustre
- Pre-Factory testing, factory testing, system integration and acceptance testing during the purchase process of HPC systems.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $128700 - $244500
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
