Job Description

Job Summary: As a Service Technician at Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for our customers' vehicles. This is a full-time position requiring skilled labor and a strong understanding of automotive mechanics. As an individual contributor, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles. Compensation & Benefits: This position offers a competitive pay ranging from $33.00 to $50.00 an hour. • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostic tests, and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues or problems with vehicles.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and computer systems to identify and troubleshoot automotive issues.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings and repair recommendations.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep detailed records of all services performed and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Continuously update knowledge of automotive technology and techniques through training and development programs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient service for customers.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
