Job Description Lighting Designer:
Full-Time position for a Lighting Designer at a small, growing, engineering firm in Riverton, UT. We are looking for a fun, energetic, self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. Responsibilities:

Assists in planning, developing and coordinating interior/exterior lighting design solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family type projects including:
AutoCAD and/or REVIT lighting plans showing layouts of devices, circuiting, schedules for specification of equipment, and installation details.
Lighting calculations and renderings utilizing AGI32, Visual, Elumtools or equal.
Generating COMCheck reports for energy compliance.
Selection and specification of light fixtures and filling out light fixture schedules.
Reviewing of lighting prior approvals and/or submittals.
Responding to lighting plan review comments and RFIs.

Qualifications:

2+ years experience in lighting design.
Proficiency in AGI32, Visual, or Elumtools.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA and building codes as it pertains to lighting design.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines while working individually and in a team environment.
