Title: Legal Assistant (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid, a minimum of 2x per week in-office at the Downtown Milwaukee, WI location
Duration: 2 Months with the possibility for extension
Scheduled hours: 8 am 4:30 pm, M-F, 30-minute lunch break daily
Description
The Client Legal Services team is seeking a temporary worker to fill in for a Litigation Specialist.
Primary duties:
- Document support for client attorneys
- Word processing and spreadsheets to support correspondence and budgeting
- Administrative Assistant functions (Expenses, procurement of Chicago/Milwaukee office supplies, meeting set-up and scheduling, monthly reporting management of various data)
- Legal document version management, edits and use of Legal software Workshare Compare for document editing and management, and support for 6 attorneys in the Chicago/Milwaukee office
Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage subpoenas received by our corporate entities
- Maintaining quarterly litigation reports
- Office administration, as assigned
- Mail handling, ordering office supplies, processing invoices and requesting checks, etc.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with SAP accounting software for outside vendor invoice processing preferred.
