The International Accounting Manager will oversee and maintain the day-to-day

accounting operations for the organizational global entities. In addition, will provide

support to the Controller and Vice President of Finance for larger scale projects. The

International Accounting Manager will be well versed in all accounting and finance-

related areas of the business.

  • Assist in all accounting functions.
  • Leads month-end and year-end close process for global entities.
  • Maintain the accounting system and General Ledger for all entities.
  • Lead and perform monthly account reconciliations.
  • Ensure monthly journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
  • Manage monthly accruals (travel, insurance, misc. benefits).
  • Manage intercompany journal entries.
  • Reconcile AR due from license partners.
  • Prepare the monthly reporting packages for corporate entities for the consolidation.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance for various entities.
  • Assist with the aggregation of data for quarterly and annual reported footnotes.
  • Special project as assigned (e.g., research newly issued Accounting Standards,assisting with the implementation of the Company's global ERP system, integration of newly acquired businesses, ad hoc analysis, other financial system upgrades, etc.)
  • Supervise Staff Accountants.
  • Assist the Finance department with any other needs or special projects.
  • Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and implement innovative process improvements to reduce the time required to close the books and reconcile account balances.
  • Support internal and external audit of financial processes and statements collaborating with external audit firms as required.
  • Foster organizational awareness by maintaining positive relationships with other business units, departments and third parties, providing exceptional customer service satisfaction.


Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of broad financial and accounting experience in a dynamic, diversified service
  • organization (sports and live entertainment experience is preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of both internal and external financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Experience with royalties and/or franchise accounting.
  • Experience with international accounting.
  • Highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and development skills to properly train and develop staff to
  • meet department objectives.
  • Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards and the ability to command and
  • inspire trust with all constituents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; especially MS Excel and working knowledge of financial systems (NetSuite preferred), statement and reports.
  • Excellent communication and relations building skills and the ability to proactively work in teams with a high attention to deal and ability to prioritize and balance work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment with high level of responsibility and ownership.
