HOW AN INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manages and carries out project tasks for eDiscovery matters, including collections, processing, searching, productions, and coordination with legal counsel, outside vendors, IT personnel, and data custodians, with detailed documentation of critical requests and actions performed
Manages our Preservation Inventory and eDiscovery Lab
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of data assets and to protect data from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction

Implements and assists in the governance and enforcement of data protection policies and data spill response
Continually improves upon and documents information management and eDiscovery processes and procedures to maintain efficient, auditable, repeatable routine practices

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Litigation Support with specialization in eDiscovery; or certification in a relevant field, such as: CEDS, eDAdv, eDTech, IGP, Essentials of IG, CDMP; or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills:
  • Knowledgeable about the Information Lifecycle and the eDiscovery Reference Model
  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructures, including storage, backup, retention, destruction, and data management; especially in the M365 suite
  • Solid understanding of best practices related to handling sensitive information
  • Solid understanding of discovery methodologies and the legal processes and requirements of discovery
  • Knowledge and experience in evidence handling and processing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Boolean searches or building logical expressions

Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to both technical and non-technical resources
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with both remote and local members of your team in a hybrid environment
  • Ability to manage projects and proactively prioritize competing requirements
  • Intuitiveness with an ability to identify and point out opportunities for improvement in a complex environment

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
