About the role

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our data-driven decision-making processes by analyzing and interpreting large datasets to extract valuable insights and inform business strategies. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for data analysis and problem-solving to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Data Collection and Cleaning: Collect, organize, and clean raw data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis purposes.
* Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and relationships within datasets, using statistical methods, data visualization techniques, and analytical tools.
* Report Generation: Prepare clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations.
* Data Modeling: Assist in developing and implementing predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to support forecasting, optimization, and decision-making processes.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the performance of business metrics and KPIs, analyzing trends over time and identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
* Data Validation: Validate data integrity and quality, performing data validation checks and audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards and protocols.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, software developers, and data engineers, to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement data-driven solutions.
* Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide ad-hoc analytical support to various teams and departments as required, assisting in special projects, data requests, and business inquiries to support organizational objectives.
About you

* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other statistical software.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and a logical approach to data interpretation and hypothesis testing.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn for creating insightful visualizations.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines and deliver results.
* Prior internship or relevant work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field is a plus.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and business domains.
