Unitis Contractor Supplies is currently hiring a Counter Sales role for our Buena Park location and is looking for someone who would enjoy working with a team of professionals within the construction industry. The Counter Sales position will make an impact by assisting customers both in person in the Buena Park showroom, and by phone, while striving to achieve company goals as a team. The primary focus of the Counter Sales role is to provide an excellent customer service experience, as well as support the team at the Buena Park branch.

This part-time position works on-site, Monday-Friday, from 11am-4:15pm.

How you will make an impact:

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, responding to questions, and creating customer engagement with merchandise
• Help grow the bottom line by processing orders in person and by phone, and recommending related products to customers
• Serve our customers by being knowledgeable about our products, promotions, and offerings
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Support the branch, including assisting with the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage
• Other duties, as assigned

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• A GED or high school diploma is required
• 1+ years of experience in Customer Service is required
• 1+ years of operating a forklift and/or small industrial vehicles is preferred, but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
