If you've been crafting your skills for years and contemplating opening your own shop, this may be the perfect opportunity! We want to partner with a very strong auto detail manager to build up this new business line while continuing to support our existing customer base. This hire will receive a salary plus a significant profit sharing that commensurates the value you're adding to the business.

Mustang Star Car Wash has a 100’ x 22’ detailing center, a new IBA (touchless automatic car wash), five self-serve bays, and vacuums. Due to the constant inquiries from our customers, the 100' long Express Tunnel was converted to a full detailing department about eight months ago. It has 3-bays and room for significant growth in the future!

My strong goal is that you are the one driving this ship from its current state to a muti-site detailing company (5-year goal). I want you to be the one developing and proposing the growth plans (how are you going to grow this from current revenue to 2x…then 4x….then expanding the detailing center on the current site…then 10x…then add a secondary site…etc…etc), enacting the growth plans, handling the challenges that come with the growth and overcoming to obstacles to the growth. Am I making sense here? I’ll be involved in a 3% manner and you’ll be handling 97% of things. Treat it like its yours!

Right now, we’re only doing a couple cars per week. This location has 24,000 cars per day driving right by us and is in the middle of a well-to-do community. We have trusted customers coming through our self-serve, IBA washes, and using our vacuums. That is 50+ people per day that already know us, trust us, and spend money with us to care for their vehicles.

The opportunity is there…just need to figure out how to drive the business.

```Duties```

• Manager local marketing and customer outreach (i.e. sales)
• Business development (more sales)
• Manage day to day operations and work flow within the shop
• Answer phone, handle questions, schedule customers
• Control and maintain labor cost expenditures to maximize profitability
• Drive productivity while meeting (hopefully exceeding) quality expectations
• Coaching and developing a team of detailers and car wash attendants
• Working with your team to ensure all vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and detailed to meet customer expectations along with our internal standards
• Train and supervise a team of detailers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards
• Building solid partnerships with our customers
• Schedule vehicle detailing appointments
• Communicate options with customers along with benefits of the service offerings
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered consistently
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
• Attending management meetings with owner to discuss business operations, financials, etc.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in vehicle detailing
• Drive and grow online and social media presence
• You’ll also be responsible for managing the rest of the site (self-serve, IBA, vacuums, etc). This will include handling customer problems, ensuring maintenance and repairs are properly performed, daily function tests on the equipment, etc, etc.

• Ability to maintain our online presence
• Strong drive and motivation to deliver high-quality results
• Proficient in various cleaning techniques, including buffing, waxing, window tinting, paint correction, and ceramic coatings
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work meticulously
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively
• Previous experience in car wash or custodial work is preferred
• Ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks effectively
