Sony Entertainment Television - India is seeking an esperienced Assistant Sales Manager for the New York office. The main functions of this position are handling Advertising Sales for the United States and International markets, meeting and exceeding Ad Sales targets, assisting with Ad. Ops/Trafficking, assisting in Marketing, Branding & Programming initiatives, and assisting in strategy and implementation of ground events & online presence.
Responsibilities include:
Advertising Sales
* Lead generation including research & cold calling clients and agencies
* Creating effective sales proposals for spot sales and sponsorships
* Making presentations to clients & agencies
* Negotiating, executing and processing sales contracts
* Coordinating with direct clients and agencies on day-to-day operations
* Offering excellent client service with regular follow-ups
Ad Ops/Trafficking
* Processing insertion orders and release orders
* Generating and submitting log reports
* Maintaining separate folders for each account
* Coordinating with scheduling department on campaigns
* Performing other related duties as required
Marketing & Promotion Initiatives
In coordination with the marketing department, assist in:
* Creating the media kit for clients
* Marketing plans, online tactics, PR events, ground marketing & programming event
Requirements include:
Knowledge of:
* Computer efficency
* PC knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop
* Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability To:
* Work well on a team as well as independently
* Collaborate effectively with other departments
* Make decisions in a timely and effective manner
* Display strong leadership qualities

3 - 5 years of related experience
BA preferred
