**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking an Architect to be based in our Rocky Hill, CT office.

The Architect will be responsible for the following items:

+ Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations

+ Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables

+ Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups

+ Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required

+ Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets

+ May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project

+ May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel

+ May review and approve conceptual designs

+ Review and enforce specifications in construction administration

+ May assist in the development of new architectural methods and techniques

+ Field construction administration support to observe construction, produce field reports and benchmark systems and construction

+ Under direction of the Supervising Architect, check and coordinate shop drawings for conformance with field conditions and design documentation

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements**

+ BA/BS in Architecture or equivalent degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Project production experience, standards and regulations

+ Detailing experience

+ Experience with building codes

+ Experience with transportation and aviation architecture project reviews of design and construction documentation

+ Revit, BIM 360, Navis/Glue expertise required

+ **Preferred Qualifications**

+ Licensed as a registered Architect

+ Aviation and Transit experience

+ NCARB accreditation

+ LEED Accredited Professional

+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis

+ Work efficiently and effectively within a team environment

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $70,222.00 - $125,084.00.
