What You’ll Do: As our Aftermarket Sales Representative, you’ll be the driving force behind growing our business in your assigned territory. Through proactive outreach, both over the phone and in-person, you’ll engage customers, build lasting relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that meet their project requirements. You'll be the go-to resource for schools, healthcare facilities, universities, and more.

  • Build and maintain customer relationships with regular sales visits and follow-up calls
  • Generate new leads and cultivate opportunities in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Make 30-50 outbound calls daily to prospective and existing customers
  • Identify key decision-makers such as school superintendents, directors of maintenance, and locksmiths, and communicate value-added solutions
  • Provide quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate in field marketing and networking opportunities to expand your reach
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals by implementing strategic action plans
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate activity logs, reports, and sales forecasts

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (or relevant experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, ideally in construction, door and hardware, building supplies, or related industries
  • Proven success in high-volume cold calling and customer relationship management
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with door hardware, locks, access control, and Division 8/10 (a plus)
  • A motivated, independent, and competitive personality with a desire to excel in a sales role

Strong sales and phone skills are a must. Able to problem-solve and resolve inquiries both internally and externally. Supports the sales cycle in full, and is able to act independently. Highly motivated and personable presence essential and must be able to meet quotas and sales initiatives.

 
As an Aftermarket Sales Representative, you must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, a strong sense of integrity, and superb organizational and time management skills. You must be competent in territory management, be able to organize a sales strategy, and possess great presentation skills. You must also be a self-starter and problem solver who keeps the customers’ best interest at heart. This position conducts sales calls on existing, and potential End User Customers.
